We’re looking for a qualified Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician to support our growing team. This role offers something a little different — a mix of traditional community pharmacy work and an exciting new service where your attention to detail and confidence in your scope will truly shine.
We’re building a new model of service, and we need a PACT who’s organised, dependable, and open to trying new ways of working.

About the Us and the Role:
Sanders Pharmacy in Te Awamutu, Waikato, is seeking a reliable and cheerful Dispensary Technician to join our dynamic, fun-loving team in our award-winning progressive pharmacy.
Since 1953, our team have been trusted Pharmacy experts. Our pharmacy is located next to a busy extended
hours medical centre who we love working closely with. We serve a wide range of patients with prescriptions, health advice and medical queries. Empowering and educating patients is at the heart of what we do, and our team are not afraid to be innovative or use technology to achieve this. You will share in this vision and be solution orientated working with the team - 8 pharmacists, 9 technicians, 4 retail staff - to bring it to reality.
As a 7 day a week Pharmacy, the work environment is dynamic and changing. Our team work hard for our
customers and have fun while doing it. We are also known to take time out to celebrate our successes as a
team during meetings or we head away from site for some fun.
This full-time role plays a vital part in providing excellent patient care and support to our pharmacists. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for community pharmacy.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and dispensing prescription medications in an accurate and timely manner
Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring the secure storage of medicines
Assisting pharmacists with medication reviews and providing advice to patients
Ordering and restocking pharmaceutical supplies
Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
Providing exceptional customer service to our patients
What we're looking for
New Zealand qualified dispensary technician, level 4 or 5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide empathetic patient care
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate dispensing
Competent in the use of pharmacy management software and other IT systems
Enthusiasm for continuing professional development and keeping up to date
Availability to work some weekends
Able to work 8-hour days
